About Miss C:
I am a senior Teaching Fellow at Lenoir-Rhyne University. I am privileged by the opportunity to student teach in kindergarten with the guidance of Mrs. Pam Schubert. Upon graduation, I will be dually certified in Elementary Education (K-6) and Special Education. My Lenoir-Rhyne and Teaching Fellows experience have prepared me through vigorous classes, over 100 tutoring hours, several internship experiences, many (many, many) conferences, a "Discovery" trip (where we traveled to and experienced different school systems all around NC), a behind the scenes look at the county level school operations, a short term study abroad trip to Ireland (where we learned about the Irish school system), and so much more.
On a personal note, I am from Alexander County, where I grew up with 2 sisters. My Yorkie, Ella, is 5 pounds of pure love and very precious to me. I am very adventurous and spontaneous and love visiting new places! I love to care for and serve others. I am very involved at my church, where I help lead 6th/7th grade girls. For almost 4 years, I have been blessed by an office assistant position where I have learned so much from so many wonderful people.
I am so excited to bring my experience and education into the classroom to help each and every student reach their full potential. I am here for them! Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, concerns, comments, or just to say hi. Looking forward to a fantastic year!
